Traditional Irish music legend Finbar Furey was presented with the inaugural lifetime achievement award by The New York Friends of The Gaelic Players Association in a star-studded gala on October 4th in New York.

He has been traveling for more than 55 years, and he believes that now is the appropriate moment for him to take a break and put doodle baseball more of his attention on his family, his friends, and play golf.
