The open-world maps in the melon sandbox game are another great feature of the game. These maps allow you to experiment with a variety of different scenarios and configurations during gameplay. It is possible to construct your own miniature planets, combine different types of weaponry and people, and even come up with odd contraptions that go beyond the scope of conventional sandbox games. It is possible to bring your own ideas to life, from wacky new weaponry to bizarre characters, thanks to the ability to modify the game, which provides an additional dimension.

The level designs are clean and minimalistic, with a sharp contrast between the white snow and brightly colored obstacles. The Geometry Dash SubZero music is composed by F-777, who is known for creating catchy, rhythm-driven tracks that sync perfectly with the gameplay. As the beats drop and the rhythm picks up, the visuals and obstacles flow seamlessly, creating an immersive experience that feels like you're skating through an icy wonderland.
